A few nights ago I was walking the dog across the woodchips at a nearby playground and my feet sunk into a foot of freezing water. The melting snow had somehow all siphoned into the playground and I was pretty sure I was going to step on Atreyu's horse in there.
A few days later, the cold returned and my son and I investigated one morning to find it frozen solid. We returned with our ice skates. How many chances to you get to ice skate around your favorite playground?
